March 16-18, 2007 We challenged ourselves with a White Mountain Winter Adventure during our St. Patrick’s Day weekend retreat. Our first and greatest challenge was traveling through the ice and snow storm raging in the southern parts of New England to arrive at the AMC Highland Center in Bretton Woods, NH. Once there, we enjoyed snowshoe hikes from the Center in the snow that followed our Adventure Women to the White Mountains, Yoga/Qigong/Reiki and an expressive arts session with Beth Simon and Susan Brown called "The Continued Journey: Stoking the Fire Within". The fire was also roaring in the great room fireplace all weekend to warm us up from our outdoor adventures and to relax with our adventure women friends.
