Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Retreats
Dear Beloved BJB Sisters, Friends and Supporters,
Sadly, our time as a nonprofit has come to an end. We are grateful for all of the love and support we have received since the announcement of our closure. We hope you will continue to stay in touch with us and your fellow BJBBCR sisters.
Our public and private Facebook pages will continue to remain active so that we can all stay connected. (Click here to our connect with us on our public Facebook page.) If you would like to stay in touch, feel free to email us at bjbbcr@gmail.com.
For 30 years, BJBBCR has stood as a beacon of hope and empowerment for women facing the profound challenges of breast cancer. What began as a vision to provide a safe space for healing and renewal blossomed into a vibrant community that has touched countless lives.
Through courageous hikes in the mountains, tranquil paddles on peaceful waters, reaching new heights on the high ropes courses, and heartfelt conversations around the campfire, we have laughed, cried, healed, and grown— side by side. Every retreat was more than just a weekend away; it was a place where strangers became sisters, fears turned into triumphs, and resilience was rediscovered.
We had a wonderful final retreat, where we celebrated 30 years of Adventure Weekends. It was full of laughter, tears and many special memories. We reflected on 30 years of impact, honoring our past, and reflecting on the amazing sisterhood that Betty created.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this extraordinary story. We know that Betty would be so proud of all we accomplished. Together, we have created something truly special—a legacy of hope, healing, and unbreakable bonds.
