Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Retreats

Providing empowerment, sisterhood, and adventure to women of all ages and stages of Breast Cancer.

At Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Retreats, women living after breast cancer move from surviving to thriving. We use challenge-by-choice activities and expressive/healing arts to create a supportive, inclusive, invigorating environment. Participants gain confidence, make new friends, find healing in the outdoors, and discover their own strengths in the recovery process.

Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Retreats is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.  Our mission is to establish and maintain a support group for women of all ages and stages of breast cancer, enhancing their quality of life through adventure-based opportunities.

“When I arrived, it was about me and all my loss and anger.
When I left it was about us. I came away
feeling stronger.
The women
made me strong.”

Come Challenge Yourself

The premise is simple....a small group of women with breast cancer come together at an outdoor retreat center to share a weekend of "challenge by choice" adventures, group support and the healing powers of being outdoors. What actually takes place is a metamorphosis that leaves women more self-empowered, confident and hopeful about the future.

We welcome you to Camp Kieve on the shores of beautiful Damariscotta Lake in Nobleboro, ME. Challenge yourself with high ropes & adventure challenge courses; kayaking/canoeing/paddle-boarding and expressive arts at Adventure Weekend Retreat 2023!
This retreat will be for new participants from New England only.
